I am a Ph.D. student in Computing at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, supervised by Prof. Jiannong Cao and Prof. Yuntian Chen. I received an Honors Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Shandong University in 2026.

My undergraduate training in mathematics and finance introduced me to modeling, optimization, statistical analysis, and data-driven research problems. Over time, I have become less interested in any single method than in whether a problem is worth studying and whether computation can help us understand or solve it.

At this early stage of my Ph.D., I am reading broadly across different areas and learning how meaningful research questions are identified and formulated. I am especially drawn to problems that matter in practice while still leaving room for methodological, algorithmic, or theoretical depth.
